What will you do?

As Domain Manager for Cloud & Infrastructure, you’ll lead the strategic evolution of our core IT backbone - the systems that keep our logistics, mail, and parcel operations running securely, reliably, and at scale.

Your mission: ensure our infrastructure is resilient, future-ready, and aligned with the needs of a fast-moving, customer-centric business.

You’ll work closely with enterprise architects, product owners, delivery teams, and external partners to shape a hybrid environment that blends cloud innovation with robust on-prem capabilities. From data centers to disaster recovery, from network architecture to platform modernization - you’ll be the driving force behind a secure, scalable foundation that supports everything we do.

This isn’t just about uptime and SLAs. It’s about enabling transformation. You’ll unlock the potential of infrastructure to accelerate digital services, empower agile delivery, and support the complex supply chains that define our business. Whether it’s parcel tracking, sender portals, or internal logistics systems, your domain will be the silent powerhouse behind every successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Domain Leadership: Own the end-to-end strategy for Cloud & Infrastructure (On-Prem), aligning technology with business priorities.

  • Platform Oversight: Manage the lifecycle of infrastructure services - from hosting and storage to network and security - ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leaders, translating operational needs into infrastructure solutions.

  • Architecture & Design: Partner with enterprise architects to define secure, modular, and future-proof infrastructure patterns.

  • Project Delivery: Lead or support key infrastructure initiatives, ensuring timely execution, budget control, and quality outcomes.

  • Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate with system integrators, cloud providers, and hardware vendors to deliver reliable services.

  • Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs and ensure continuous improvement across infrastructure operations and user experience.

  • Innovation Enablement: Drive modernization efforts, including cloud migration, automation, and infrastructure-as-code adoption.

Who are you?

We’re looking for a strategic leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for building resilient, high-performing infrastructure in complex environments.

Education & Experience

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or hybrid environments.

  • Proven track record in managing on-prem systems, data centers, and enterprise networks.

  • Experience in logistics, postal, or manufacturing sectors with complex supply chains.

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), virtualization, and security frameworks.

  • Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch or French is a plus.

Additionally

  • Experience with infrastructure automation, DevOps, and Agile delivery models.

  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, monitoring platforms, and ITSM systems.

  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external service providers.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
