Performance & Profit Manager - Sorting
What will you do?
You are responsible for the end‑to‑end monitoring, analysis and steering of national performance in the Sorting domain. Through strong insights, fact‑based recommendations and close partnership with senior operational leaders, you ensure that performance remains a top priority throughout the entire organization.
You create transparency, challenge assumptions, drive improvement initiatives and shape a culture in which operational excellence is standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate national strategy into clear plans and targets for the Sorting domain.
- Develop and monitor annual performance plans and advise senior leadership on key priorities.
- Analyse national Sorting results across cost, quality, complaints and people, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
- Consolidate insights from all operational units into one clear national performance view.
- Lead national performance improvement projects and support/challenge business cases.
- Identify best practices and drive their roll‑out across all sites.
- Coordinate the national budget and quarterly review processes, ensuring accurate data and well‑explained variances.
- Partner with Sorting managers nationwide, offering coaching and acting as the main performance contact.
- Ensure alignment with national reporting standards and end‑to‑end performance frameworks.
- Lead and coach a team of performance professionals, harmonizing methodologies and strengthening capabilities through training and knowledge sharing.
Who are you?
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in performance management (operational + financial).
- Strong knowledge of operational and financial processes, ideally within large-scale operational environments.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to simplify complexity.
- Strong communication and influencing abilities, capable of partnering with senior leaders.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office and controlling/accounting principles.
- Knowledge of performance KPIs in operational environments (quality, customer, people).
- Fluency in Dutch or French, with very good proficiency in the other national language and in English.
