What will you do?

bnode operates in a complex regulatory environment which is constantly changing and provides both risks and opportunities. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is a must-have that bnode would like to integrate into its corporate culture. Compliance and culture are closely linked in an organization, as they both play integral roles in shaping the behaviour and actions of its members. Compliance refers to the adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, internal policies, and ethical guidelines. On the other hand, culture represents the shared values, beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours that are prevalent within bnode.

That’s why we launched our Fostering a Culture of ethics and compliance (FACE) program. This Program aims at implementing all the necessary elements to foster a culture of ethics and compliance, improving our way of working and ensuring that compliance is integrated into all business decisions.

That is why we are looking for a Project Manager to drive and follow up on the FACE program implementation & compliance review recommendations cross-departmental of the Group and help us efficiently adjust our Compliance ways of working. This Program is part of our Transformation initiatives and critical for bnode to achieve its goal and foster a culture of ethics and compliance within the group.

Your mission

As the FACE program project manager, you will be responsible for successfully planning, executing, following up, monitoring and ensuring that the relevant stakeholders deliver all the elements they commit to. You will act as the leader and facilitator, overseeing all aspects of the project and reporting to the Head of Digital compliance and Compliance Programs about the evolution and execution of the FACE Program. 

Tasks and responsibilities

Follow-up and Organizing :

  • Follow up on project objectives, scope, tasks, milestones, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria ;
  • Help stakeholders identify lack of resources and propose solutions on how to organize resources and staff to deliver agreed to ensure all stakeholders are fully engaged when completing their tasks;
  • Working with the project management system to track progress ;
  • Propose and implement improvements in the Compliance department ways of working (reporting, monitoring,…) ;
  • Follow-up on Compliance contributions and help the Compliance department to report on it;
  • Organise and lead the quarterly Compliance Steerco.

Team Management :

  • Conducting regular stakeholder meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and provide updates ;
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration among cross-department team members ;
  • Providing guidance and support to cross-department team members ;
  • Support Compliance Subject Matters Experts implementing the plans related to the different compliance domains.

Stakeholder Communication :

  • Interacting with stakeholders to understand expectations ;
  • Communicating project updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders ;
  • Addressing stakeholder concerns and managing their expectations ;
  • Facilitating meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather feedback and make decisions ;
  • Managing relationships with external suppliers or partners.

Project Tracking and Monitoring :

  • Monitoring project progress against the established plan and schedule ;
  • Tracking key project metrics ;
  • Identifying and addressing deviations from the plan or potential risks ;Conducting regular status meetings to discuss progress and next steps ;
  • Documenting and reporting project status to stakeholders ;
  • Setting up monitoring program on onboarded compliance domains.

Issue Resolution and Risk Management :

  • Identifying and addressing project issues or obstacles ;
  • Analyzing and managing project risks and implementing risk response strategies ;
  • Escalating critical issues or risks to appropriate stakeholders or management ;
  • Collaborating with the team to develop contingency plans and solutions ;
  • Continuously evaluating project risks and adjusting plans as necessary.

Trainings :

  • Coordinate the governance, rollout, and ongoing improvement of the Group compliance training platform in collaboration with HR, IT, and our external provider;
  • Monitor training campaigns, completion rates, and key KPIs, and prepare consolidated reporting for Compliance Steerco and senior management;
  • Support Compliance Subject Matter Experts in onboarding, updating, and maintaining compliant, audit-ready training content.

Documentation and Reporting :

  • Documenting project requirements, decisions, and changes ;
  • Creating and updating project documentation, such as project charters, plans, and reports;
  • Preparing efficient reporting to the Compliance Steerco, Executive Committee, Audit, risk and Compliance Committee and Board of Directors ;
  • Generating progress reports, status updates, and project dashboards ;
  • Maintaining project files, documentation, and version control ;
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Project Closure:

  • Conducting project reviews and lessons learned sessions ;
  • Finalizing project deliverables and obtaining necessary approvals ;
  • Ensuring smooth project transition and handover to relevant stakeholders ;
  • Archiving project documentation and lessons learned for future reference.

Who are you?

  • You have a few years of experience in coordinating and reporting on a critical project/program for bnode;
  • Experience in applying change management principles;
  • You do not think in terms of problems, but in terms of creative, flexible and quick solutions;
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to senior audiences or Exco members;
  • Proactivity and priority management are your innate talents;
  • You have strong influencing, networking & communication skills (thanks to your engaging nature, flexibility, assertivity and high EQ);
  • You have a positive and open mindset. You like to work together with others and you are strong in building relationships (within the whole bnode);
  • Very good knowledge of English is required.
