The Senior Group Business Controller is responsible for the performance management activities and commitment/investment decisions of a high complexity business unit (BU), in this case 3PL Europe & US. She/he will challenge and advise the bnode Controlling Director, bnode CFO and the bnode CEO to reach the bnode financial and strategic objectives:

• Is responsible for understanding, reviewing and challenging: monthly financial results of the business unit, budget of the business unit, quarterly forecasts of the business unit and LTP (long-term plan, financial view on 5 years) of the business unit.
• Is responsible for the analysis and challenging of the Group commitment files for the BU under his/her responsibility.
• Provides Director Business controlling, Group CFO and the Group CEO and other executives with ad hoc analysis and feedback on various financial topics linked to the BU under his/her responsibility.

• You hold a Master’s degree in finance and minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial or business positions;
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English;
• Knowledge of accounting and extensive expertise in controlling;
• You are enterprising, you take initiative and you are a real problem solver;
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills;
• Experience in people management is a plus;
• This position requires good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with different finance teams, build relationships with stakeholders across the business and the management;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
