We are currently looking for a Credit and Insurance Advisor who will manage a client portfolio within our bpost branches.


You’ll have the freedom to organize your own commercial activities and further develop your relationship with clients.
Do you have creative ideas to boost sales or improve certain processes? We’d love to hear them! With mutual agreement, you can make an even greater impact on your role.


In addition, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • You advise clients — both French-speaking and Dutch-speaking — and offer them the best solutions based on the following products: daily banking, consumer loans, and non-life insurance.
  • You actively look for new clients, either through your own network or via your colleagues, contacting them and inviting them to meet to assess their financial needs.
  • You work closely with the Bank Manager and the Branch Manager to achieve the set objectives, and you can present these in reports and meetings.
  • You are eager to learn and continue to develop your skills and product knowledge.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, it goes without saying that you enjoy interacting with people and have a strong interest in the banking sector.
  • We welcome candidates with or without experience. You either hold a bachelor’s degree or have a strong affinity with the banking world.
  • As we offer you the opportunity to obtain the various certifications required to succeed in your role, you must at least hold a secondary school diploma. Within twelve months, you will obtain the banking and insurance mediation certificates (Willems Law and the European Insurance Distribution Directive – IDD) as well as the credit mediation certificate.
  • Your enthusiasm and desire to take on a commercial role are contagious.
  • You are results-oriented and solution-driven, and you are motivated to identify clients’ needs in order to provide them with tailored financial advice.
