We’re looking for an IT Domain Lead within the Logistics Domain to shape and deliver the IT strategy that powers our logistics - from national sorting hubs and transport planning, to first/last-mile route optimisation.

What will you do?

As IT Domain Lead in Logistics, you will support the IT strategy, governance, and delivery roadmap for systems supporting bpost’s logistics chain.
You will lead one or more DevOps teams, collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver innovative, resilient, and data-driven solutions that enable our operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic leadership: Define the technology vision for Supply Chain, Transport, and Delivery domains, aligned with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
• Solution delivery: Oversee the design and rollout of key operational platforms - such as TMS, Sorting or Dynamic Routing solutions.
• Business partnering: Collaborate with leaders in Logistics to translate strategic goals into digital roadmaps and actionable programmes.
• Architecture & integration: Ensure operational systems are integrated, scalable, secure, and future-ready - leveraging cloud, API, event and data-driven technologies.
• Performance & reliability: Drive service excellence through monitoring, KPIs, incident management, and continuous improvement practices.
• Vendor and partner management: Manage collaboration with key technology partners.
• Innovation & modernisation: Promote the use of automation, predictive analytics, IoT, and AI to increase efficiency, safety, and sustainability in logistics operations.
• Leadership & governance: Lead multidisciplinary teams, manage multi-million-euro budgets, and ensure compliance with enterprise governance and security standards

• A strategic technology leader with 10+ years of experience in IT delivery or architecture - ideally with at least 5 years in logistics or supply chain, or transport domains.

• Proven track record of delivering complex, mission-critical systems that support large operational environments.
• Deep understanding of logistics processes and technologies, including route optimisation, transport planning, warehouse automation, and data-driven performance management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - able to bridge business priorities and technical strategy.
• Skilled in managing large teams, budgets, and vendor ecosystems in a matrix environment.
• Familiarity with modern IT methodologies (Agile, DevOps, ITIL) and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French (both a real plus).
