The Mail & Parcel Operations (MPO) department is represented by colleagues from the Product & Process teams, who act as the single point of contact between MPO and the commercial organization.

As a Senior Process Owner Mail, you play a key role in the further development and optimization of mail products. You capture operational needs from the business and translate them into end‑to‑end process designs. You coordinate with process specialists from various domains such as Sorting, Fine‑Meshed Distribution, Logistic Platform Distribution and Transport, both for process design and implementation.

You also work closely with other teams within MPO (such as Network & Flow), as well as with colleagues from IT and digitalization. Developing and implementing new customers and/or customer solutions within Mail, in collaboration with the domain teams and COE’s, is also part of your responsibilities.

Your tasks

• You thoroughly analyze end‑to‑end processes within MPO, with attention to cost‑benefit, efficiency and market developments.
• You assess the impact and risks of process improvements based on evolving market and business needs.
• You take the lead in the implementation of improvement initiatives and coordinate the introduction of supporting processes and tools.
• You monitor the quality and performance of processes and use these insights to propose targeted optimizations.
• You identify and analyze risks that may impact the efficiency, continuity and reliability of operational processes.
• You act as a content expert within strategic projects and ensure proper alignment with the broader organizational context.

• You have at least 8 years of relevant experience in project and process improvement and/or operational consulting, and an affinity with a logistics environment.
• You have an analytical, process‑oriented and critical mindset and can understand complex processes.
• You have extensive experience in change management, project management and process analysis & process mapping.
• You communicate fluently and know how to connect and engage various stakeholders constructively.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and French and a strong knowledge of English.
