Lead one or multiple projects aimed at redesigning existing business processes or deploying new ones. Manage the day-to-day project activities and act as the primary point of contact regarding project execution and achievement of objectives.

Projects are medium-term, with a duration of approximately 2 years. The project budget is estimated between EUR 25 million and EUR 45 million.

Key Responsibilities

Define core project processes

• Define a detailed project scope and manage any adjustments during the project lifecycle
• Identify organizational and client needs, prioritize them, and position them within a well-structured release plan
• Identify stakeholders and define their roles, responsibilities, and authority

Develop and maintain a high-quality detailed project plan

• Create milestone plans
• Develop a schedule for the different project phases
• Ensure deadlines are met

Assess resource requirements based on the business case

• Define and manage budget, resources, and staffing, and ensure compliance
• Adjust resources as necessary

Implement quality controls and manage risks

• Define quality standards for project deliverables
• Ensure delivery of project outputs and final completion
• Risk management: identify critical success factors and risks, and address them by defining and monitoring KPIs

Organize project team tasks hierarchically and/or functionally

• Motivate and engage project team members
• Organize and monitor the project macro-planning and team activities

Provide project documentation to stakeholders during all project phases

• Communicate on project progress
• Stakeholder management: identify stakeholders and consider potential conflicts of interest
• Create stakeholder buy-in

Deliver and ensure acceptance of project results

• Deliver the project and related documentation
• Evaluate the project as a whole and derive lessons learned for future projects

• Education: Master’s degree
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Languages: Good command of the second national language
• Strong knowledge of project management
• Good knowledge of Business Objects
• In-depth knowledge of the project domain
• Knowledge of process management
