Leading one or more projects related to the re-engineering of existing business processes or the implementation of new business processes. Managing the daily activities of the project. Acting as the primary point of contact regarding execution, achievement, and realization of the project objectives. Project duration is medium-term: 1 to 2 years. Project budget is estimated at >4.5 mio EUR and <10 mio EUR.

•                         Defining the core processes of the project:

o   Defining a detailed scope and managing changes to it throughout the project duration

o   Formulating a needs assessment for the organization and customers: ranking them by priority and placing them within a release plan

o   Defining the involved stakeholders and determining their authorities and responsibilities

•                         Creating and adjusting a high-level and detailed planning. Ensuring deadlines are respected and met:

o   Creating a milestone plan

o   Creating a timeline for the different phases of the project

o   Assessing the need for resources aligned with the business case:

o   Determining and respecting the budget, means, and people

o   Adjusting resources if necessary

•                         Implementing quality controls and mitigating risks:

o   Defining the quality standards to which the project output must comply

o   Responsible for delivering the deliverables and closing the project

o   Risk management: assessing and mitigating critical success factors and risks by defining and monitoring KPIs

•                         Hierarchically and/or functionally organizing the tasks of the project team:

o   Stimulating and motivating the project members

o   Organizing and following up on the macro planning of the project and its members

•                         Providing the necessary communication about the projects during the various successive phases to all involved stakeholders:

o   Communicating about progress

o   Stakeholdermanagement: identifying stakeholders and considering potential conflicts of interest

o   Creating buy-in among stakeholders

•                         Delivering and having the requested project output accepted:

o   Delivering the project and the project documentation

o   Evaluating the project in its entirety and drawing lessons for the future

•                         Master's degree or equivalent through experience

•                         Required experience for the role: 5 years of relevant experience

•                         Language skills (depending on workplace): good knowledge of the second national language

•                         Good knowledge of project management

•                         Good knowledge of Business Objects

•                         Good knowledge of the domain in which the project is carried out
