Digital Learning Solutions Lead
What will you do?
The Digital Learning Solutions Lead is responsible for steering the development and implementation of digital learning platforms within the organization. The objective is to create a coherent, future-oriented digital learning landscape that optimally supports the learning needs of the Central Academy and the technical academies.
Main tasks
* Steering the development and implementation of digital learning platforms
The Digital Learning Solutions Lead manages the implementation, functional development, and updates of the various existing learning platforms, such as the Learning Management System (LMS), content libraries, or content development platforms. In doing so, the Digital Learning Solutions Lead ensures the consistency and architecture of the digital landscape.
Activities:
- Identify and analyze the needs of the Central Academy and the technical academies in terms of learning platform functionalities
- Translate needs into clear functional requirements for PI planning for developments and configuration
- Validate, with the relevant stakeholders, a prioritization of developments
- Follow up on developments and configurations with the digital teams
- Organize testing of new developments by the relevant stakeholders (Learning Partners, Operational Excellence Team, end users, etc.)
- Communicate major developments and their impact to the relevant stakeholders.
*Advice on digital learning solutions
The Digital Learning Solutions Lead acts as an expert in digital learning solutions and advises Learning Partners, the Operational Excellence Team A&D, as well as the technical academies on the optimal use and application of existing digital learning solutions in their projects.
Activities:
- Analyze the project objectives and the digital learning solutions that play a role
- Advise on how these digital learning solutions should be applied in the project while respecting the existing governance and architecture of the digital landscape
- Test Management: Organize tests with the relevant stakeholders who test the new solutions based on validated test cases. Maintain and execute a test plan and follow up on the results. Organize a GO/NO GO moment to approve the production release.
* Contribution to the development of the Digital Roadmap HR
The Digital Learning Solutions Lead acts as a representative of learning and development needs within HR projects that have an impact on digital learning solutions, and translates the impact of these projects into digital learning solutions.
Activities:
- Actively participate in Digital Roadmap HR projects and involve the most appropriate colleagues in a timely manner
- Assess the impact of the project on existing digital learning solutions and translate this into actions or requirements for learning solutions
- Communicate with the Operational Excellence Team A&D and the Learning & Development Team on the status and impact of the projects.
*Innovation and expertise
The Digital Learning Solutions Lead has knowledge of the various digital learning solutions and their possibilities, and uses this knowledge to drive innovation in digital learning solutions at Bpost.
Activities:
- Organize knowledge-sharing moments with external experts in the field of digital learning solutions
- Monitor trends and innovative technologies in the area of learning platforms
- Assess and guide how innovative solutions can be implemented within Bpost.
Who are you?
- Education level: Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
- Experience level required for the role: At least 5 years of experience, including 3 years with digital learning solutions
- Language knowledge: thorough knowledge of English, solid knowledge of the second national language
- Technical knowledge required for the role:
- Solid knowledge of concepts in the learning context and of various learning methodologies
- Solid knowledge of a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Basic knowledge of online learning solutions: content authoring platforms, content libraries, etc.
- Basic knowledge of the principles and concepts used in IT development
- Solid knowledge of project management
