Security Officer
What will you do?
As a Security Officer, you provide expertise in security solutions and measures (building, electronic systems and procedures) for the benefit of the group’s entities. You coordinate pilots and Proof of Concepts (POCs), support Real Estate/Facility Management security-related projects, carry out compliance audits on sites (offices, sorting centers/MC, IMC and subsidiaries) and contribute to user awareness and training.
- Analyze internal customers’ needs and issues, conduct pre-studies and make well-argued recommendations.
- Design/validate processes and working methods, and write detailed technical specifications (including feasibility studies).
- Plan and organize projects: execute the steps, identify risks/obstacles, and propose solutions.
- Carry out operational tests, run POCs and manage pilot projects.
- Ensure communication and reporting: information sharing, progress presentations, technical notes.
- Control and verify compliance: validate layout plans, perform on-site checks, provide recommendations and follow up remediation actions.
- Train and raise awareness among users on security standards, values and best practices.
Who are you?
- Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Languages: good knowledge of the second national language; basic knowledge of English.
- Technical skills: in-depth knowledge of security sub-domains (alarm systems, CCTV, access control, etc.); solid fundamentals in project management; knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, Unipass and upload/download software.
- Compliance: a “private security” permit/accreditation is required to install alarm and CCTV systems (in accordance with applicable legislation).
- Personal skills: analytical mindset and ability to summarize, attention to detail, strong internal customer service orientation, clear communication, ability to collaborate and influence (including with suppliers/consultants).
- Mobility: mobile role with travel to sites (road risk to be considered).
