Senior process owner/Architect  - Finance Process & Systems Improvement

Within Bnode, Accounting & Financial Control plays a key role in ensuring a reliable, efficient and timely financial closing process. To further strengthen the way we work, we are looking for a Senior process owner/Architect - Finance Process & Systems Improvement who will help simplify, standardize and accelerate our closing processes.

This role is ideal for someone who combines a strong finance background or a genuine interest in financial topics with a passion for process improvement, systems and stakeholder collaboration. You will not focus on reporting as such, but on making the processes and systems behind the financial close more effective, more consistent and easier to use.

Your mission

You will drive and support the improvement and re-engineering of finance closing processes for Bpost NV/SA and Bnode. Together with process owners, finance experts, ICT Finance and other stakeholders, you will identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate the closing cycle.

What you will do

• Analyse finance closing processes from end to end and identify opportunities for improvement, simplification and automation.
• Coordinate the implementation of new processes and system changes, in close collaboration with Finance and ICT Finance.
• Act as a bridge between Finance, ICT and the business by translating business needs into workable process and system solutions.
• Explore and use the standard functionalities available in Oracle ERP Fusion and Oracle EPM, with a focus on standardization rather than customization.
• Support testing, rollout, adoption and prioritization of new features and process improvements.
• Maintain clear process documentation and contribute to strong governance and communication around changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Accounting & Financial Control, consolidation, financial controllers, GL, GTF, subsidiaries, corporate control and business control.

• You have a solid finance background and understand the challenges of a financial closing cycle.
• You bring experience in process management, process improvement or process architecture, ideally in a finance environment.
• You are familiar with ERP and/or consolidation systems; knowledge of Oracle ERP Fusion or Oracle EPM is a strong asset.
• You are analytical, structured and pragmatic, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• You are able to listen, understand stakeholder needs, challenge constructively and turn ideas into concrete improvements.
• You can connect Finance and IT and are comfortable coordinating changes, testing and rollouts.
• You act as a catalyst for change and know how to bring people on board in a complex stakeholder environment.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch or French and have a good command of English.
