The Business Controller IT 3PL EU is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations within the IT department of 3PL EU (Staci Group, Active Ants and Radial Europe) directly supporting/reporting to the Finance Director. This role includes preparing financial reports, performing financial analysis (i.e. profitability, cash-flow), reviewing (organic) investment case, ensuring reliability and quality of the financial data. This role is based in Brussels with travels abroad (mainly Europe). 

• Support to Finance Director (and CFO 3PL EU) in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts as well as internal reports for Group Controlling & Finance;
• Prepare timely monthly financial reporting on IT expenses highlighting deviations from budget;
• Challenge the profitability of investments  and develop view on capex allocation
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting;
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance;
• Support month-end and year-end close processes;
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Proven working experience in Controlling, FP&A, Audit or other (corporate)-finance related functions
• 5+ years of combined finance and accounting experience.
• Fluency in English and French, with a good understanding of Dutch.
• CFA, CPA is a plus
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience to prepare financial reporting to internal stakeholder
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Self-driven and analytical skills.
• Excellent MS office skills (and in particular Excel)
