These solutions are integrated logistics-digital concepts that seamlessly combine technology, data, and operations. To achieve this ambition, Bnode is setting up a new department that develops and implements innovative solutions.

Role As Solution Engineer Lead, you are responsible for designing, testing, and implementing new integrated logistics-digital solutions that meet the rapidly changing needs of our customers. You lead a team of 3 to 4 junior engineering consultants and work closely with business developers, commercial teams, customers, and operational departments. You translate business needs into concrete, workable solutions—from concept to successful execution.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs: Dive into customers’ business models and identify opportunities to create added value through integrated logistics and digital technology.
• Design solutions: Develop innovative concepts that address new markets (such as B2B overnight delivery, X2C flows, circular logistics, etc.).
• From idea to implementation: Manage the entire process—from conceptual design and technical validation to pilot project and operational rollout.
• Collaboration and stakeholder management: Act as the bridge between commercial teams, customers, IT, operations, and supply chain.
• People leadership: Coach and motivate a small team of engineering consultants and foster experimentation, innovation, and hands-on realization.
• Continuous improvement: Evaluate the performance of new solutions, gather feedback, and continuously optimize.

Must-haves:

• Strong customer focus—listen, understand, and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain, and transport flows.
• Engineer mindset: analytical yet pragmatic and solution-oriented.
• Creative thinker with proven ability to develop new concepts.
• Strong communicator—fluent in the language of customers, business developers, and operational teams.
• Hands-on “doer”: focused on realization, not just concepts.
• Experience in project management and implementing cross-functional initiatives.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in last-mile logistics, service logistics, or field support operations.
• Knowledge of digital tools and data analysis in a logistics context.
• Familiarity with product-capability models and cloud solutions.
• Affinity with sustainable and circular supply chains.
• Master’s degree in engineering, logistics management, or equivalent.
