Within this story we are looking for a new Manager for our Parcels Sorting Center in Brussels (Neder-Over-Heembeek).

Your job

-         You’re in charge of the coordination, management and optimization of the entire parcels sorting process.  You develop and coordinate action plans to improve operations.

-         You’re end responsible for the optimal utilization of all resources through accurate end-to-end planning.  You coordinate and direct regional capacity planning and ensure that such planning is sufficiently detailed to carry out operations.  You also provide feedback to central planning on discrepancies between planned and actual figures

-         You’re end responsible for achieving the operational targets regarding productivity and quality.  You translate the quality objectives related to  your area of expertise into objectives applicable to the different departments within the Industrial Mail Centre.  You also monitor financial KPI’s and develop and coordinate action plans to achiev budget goals

-         You lead the management team of the parcels sorting center.  You are the contact person in case of conflicts or major problems between the different departments within your sorting center.

-         You ensure smooth day-to-day operational interactions with key customers dropping off product in the sorting center

-         You ensure an optimal collaboration with the other processes in the E2E chain (Collect , Transport, Distribution)  and you liaise with your colleagues of the other Sorting Centers

-         You interact smoothly and continuously with social partners, clients and external relations

Your Profile

-         University degree or equivalent through experience

-         At least 8 years of senior management experience, leading a large operating unit in a manufacturing environment.

-         Experience with and knowledge of postal processes is a plus

-         Strong people management skills, good communicator, analytical-minded

-         Ability to influence and drive change among employees.

-         Entrepreneurial mindset.

-         Experience with interactions with unions is a plus

-         Very good knowledge of French, Dutch and English.
