Your mission:

The Out of Home (OOH) team within bpost is responsible for all manned and unmanned collection points within bpost, excluding post offices. This includes parcel points, postal outlets and parcel lockers. Currently bpost has around 1,300 parcel lockers. By the end of 2025 we want to nearly double that amount. Parcel lockers are an important strategic growth pillar within bpost.

Several new projects and products will be launched on our automatic parcel lockers in the coming months and years. To support this growth, a ‘locker capability tribe’ has been launched within bpost. This tribe will collect, analyse, prioritise and bring all changes in services and capabilities to production.

Responsibilities:

As a product owner, you will lead a squad (team) within the locker capability tribe. You ensure that the team can work autonomously and efficiently and that product changes are successfully brought into production. You proactively discuss potential issues with your fellow manager and act as an inspiration for the team.

Proactively discuss issues with colleagues
Set priorities in collaboration with the team
Understand and manage both business processes and ICT technical components
Stakeholder management and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Your profile:

We do not only deliver letters and parcels, but also opportunities. This job is open to all with diverse backgrounds and talents, possessing the following skills:

University degree or equivalent through experience

At least 5 years of relevant working experience
Excellent command of the English language, good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a bonus
Experience in managing agile teams
Highly communicative and able to elaborate and translate business and ICT ideas
Able to maintain a helicopter view and set priorities
Analytical mind-set
Proactive attitude and problem-solving capabilities
Taking care of decision-making at management level
Experience with working agile methodology
Experience with change management and implementation of new processes within a complex organisation
Experience with product capability model is a plus
