The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations within the BU 3PL EU (Staci Group, Active Ants and Radial Europe) directly supporting/reporting to the Finance Director. This role includes preparing financial reports, performing financial analysis (i.e. profitability, cash-flow), reviewing (organic) investment case, ensuring reliability and quality of the financial data. This role is based in Brussels with travels abroad (US, Europe and Asia).

Your mission:

Support to Finance Director (and CFO 3PL EU) in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts as well as internal reports (Group Controlling & Finance);
Prepare timely monthly financial reporting;
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting;
Research technical accounting issues for compliance;
Support month-end and year-end close processes;
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;

Your profile:

Proven working experience in Controlling, FP&A, Audit or other (corporate)-finance related functions
5+ years of combined finance and accounting experience.
CFA, CPA is a plus
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Experience to prepare financial reporting to internal stakeholder
Experience with creating financial statements.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
Self-driven and analytical skills.
Excellent MS office skills (and in particular excel).
