Senior Oracle EPM Analyst

Purpose

bpost is looking for a Senior Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Analyst to join the ICT Finance team. The Senior Oracle EPM Analyst will play a key role in implementing and optimizing the Oracle EPM solution.

This position involves providing expertise in the implementation and optimization of Oracle EPM solution as well as configuring and maintaining it. The resource will work closely with the finance department to understand their requirements and develop solutions that align with their goals.

Your mission

o   System Implementation and Integration:

o   Key role in the implementation and integration of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions within the organization

o   Collaborate with the finance department and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives

o   Collaborate with vendors and partners

o   Technical Expertise:

o   Serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle EPM, providing insights and guidance on best practices

o   Configure and maintain Oracle EPM applications to meet business needs

o   Data Management and Reporting:

o   Design and develop financial models, reports and dashboards to support business planning and decision-making processes

o   Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the EPM system, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data flows

o   User Training and Support:

o   Conduct training sessions for end-users to maximize their utilization of Oracle EPM tools

o   Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner

o   Collaborate with vendor to troubleshoot issues

o   Performance Optimization:

o   Monitor and enhance the performance of Oracle EPM applications, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements

o   Stay informed about updates and new features in Oracle EPM technologies and assess their relevance to the organization

Your profile

o   Master degree

o   5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EPM solutions

o   Broad understanding of all EPM cloud products

o   Knowledge of EDMCS, EPBCS, FCCS and ARCS modules

o   Knowledge of EPM Automate

o   Knowledge of SmartView

o   Knowledge of Data Management/Data Exchange

o   Knowledge of Essbase calculation scripting;

o   Experience in building Reports, Dashboards, Infolets, and Smartview templates

o   Knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud is a plus

o   Knowledge of Accounting and Financial concepts

o   Functional understanding of the financial close and consolidation process, including currency translation, eliminations, and intercompany trading, adjusting journal entries and reconciliations

o   Functional understanding of the planning and budgeting process

o   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

o   Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

o   Fluent in English and French or Dutch
