The Purpose

In order to strengthen the audit department, bpostgroup is looking for an internal auditor to manage audit assignments within the broad bpostgroup organization.

Internal Audit Services (IAS) is part of Corporate Audit, the group's department of bpost which independently evaluates systems, operations and procedures in order to give reasonable assurance to management and the Board of Directors about the internal control environment. We make recommendations for improvement and follow-up on them.

Your mission

o   You manage the planning, resources, milestones and deliverables of the audit missions. You organize your team (of 1 or 2 auditors) in order to quickly grasp the domain you audit and perform thorough and high-quality risk-based testing.

o   You evaluate the systems, processes and procedures of bpostgroup and its subsidiaries in order to strengthen the internal control environment.

o   You identify risks that might jeopardize the strategic objectives of bpostgroup, suggest the necessary measures and follow up on the implementation of these measures.

o   You draw up qualitative audit reports, and present the results to the line management, up to Executive Committee members. 

o   You maintain contact with the internal customers on a regular basis and suggest concrete and pragmatic solutions to create value for the company.

o   You report to the Audit Manager.

Your profile

o   You have a master degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in internal and/or external audit combined with consulting, project management or general accounting expertise.

o   Experience in leading a team and a CIA, CISA certificate or equivalent are a plus.

o   You have a strong analytical mindset and master the capacity to boil information down to its essentials.

o   You can work autonomously but are at the same time an integer and empathic team player.

o   You have excellent communication (written and spoken) and presentation skills. You have a very good level of Dutch or French, a good level of the other language and a very good level of English.

o   You are used to working with MS Office and audit tools (such as TeamMate, IDEA).

o   You are ready to perform audit missions abroad occasionally.
