Your mission:

External reporting: For the stock exchange reporting - together with the team of financial controllers and investor relations department - you will assist in preparing the bpostgroup annual and quarterly reports (amongst other cash flow), including the auditor’s review. Furthermore liaise with the ESG team to align financial and non-financial information (CSRD, EU taxonomy,…).
Group closing: you are responsible for the last mile of bpostgroup monthly IFRS closing for a number of processes, mainly related to: IFRS 16 leases, tangible and intangible assets (CAPEX) and operating expenses.
AOP - Account Ownership Project (internal control): in your role of process manager (PO) you will review some key sections of the balance sheet and make suggestions for improvements related to processes and systems (Oracle ERP and EPM suite).
Monitoring: from an accounting and controlling perspective of a number of (international) subsidiaries and advice on onboarding subsidiaries on Oracle ERP.

You have a contagious passion for finance and your Master's degree in economics, business administration proves this;
You pride yourself to improve the financial reporting of a quoted company and make sure that it continues to meet the regulatory standards;
You like to have impact: in this position you have a high exposure to internal (C-level) and external stakeholders;
Two to four years as an auditor is considered as an asset;
Good knowledge BGAAP, basic knowledge IFRS (willing to invest in this knowledge in combination with on the job learning and trainings provided);
Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French and good knowledge of English.
