Your mission:
We are looking for a strategic and technically strong Security Domain Architect to define, evolve, and oversee the enterprise security architecture across our systems, infrastructure, and applications. In this senior role, you will act as the authority on security architecture, guiding technology decisions to protect our assets, data, and operations from evolving threats.
You will work closely with enterprise architects, CISO teams, IT security, and project stakeholders to ensure all solutions are secure by design and aligned with business needs, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the security architecture vision and roadmap across the enterprise.
- Ensure security is embedded into architecture, design, and delivery across systems and platforms.
- Translate regulatory and business requirements into actionable technical security controls.
- Lead threat modelling and risk assessments for critical applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to ensure implementation aligns with security architecture standards.
- Develop and maintain security reference architectures, patterns, and design principles.
- Support audits, compliance initiatives, and governance processes (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, etc.).
- Serve as a trusted advisor to IT leadership, project teams, and business units on security matters.
Your profile:
· 7+ years in IT architecture roles, with at least 3 in a security-focused position.
· Deep understanding of security principles across application, infrastructure, cloud, and data layers.
· Experience with security architecture frameworks (SABSA, TOGAF, NIST, Zero Trust, etc.).
· Strong knowledge of identity and access management, encryption, network security, and secure development lifecycle.
· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) and their native security services.
· Familiarity with security compliance standards and regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.).
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Additional skills
· Relevant certifications: CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, Azure/AWS Security Architect, etc.
· Experience in regulated sectors (e.g. finance, healthcare, government).
· Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline security.
· Experience with security tooling such as SIEM, DLP, CASB, and vulnerability management platforms.
