Your mission:

As a Technical Manager, you will oversee the technical operations of 3 industrial sites (Franking Factory, Scanning Factory & Fulfillment), including buildings, machines, ICT, local purchases, and budget management.

We do not only deliver letters and parcels, but also opportunities. This job is open to all with diverse backgrounds and talents, possessing the following skills:

·        Planning, organizing, and supervising all maintenance activities to keep the 3 premises, buildings, and machinery operational.

·        Collaborating with the central Operational Excellence department to define and implement optimal production standards based on market studies and benchmarking.

·        Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for operational processes, working closely with the Production Manager and the central Operational Excellence department.

·        Initiating, planning, and managing all safety and security aspects.

·        Leading the sites budget management, including setup, follow-up, and reporting.

·        Managing all local purchasing activities, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.

·        Ensuring the technical department has the necessary quantity and quality of motivated staff to achieve short and medium-term objectives.

·        Overseeing the operational aspects of the local ICT infrastructure in collaboration with the respective ICT services.

Your profile:

At bpost, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:

·        A degree in Industrial / Civil Engineering, preferably in Electromechanics / Electronics.

·        Approximately 3 years of relevant experience, such as in a production environment as a maintenance manager or project engineer for large production/maintenance/industrial engineering projects.

·        Strong technical interfacing knowledge of production machines, buildings, contract management, budgeting, investment analysis, purchasing processes, and quality processes ( ISO, KPI analysis).

·        Excellent leadership skills, capable of managing people at various levels.

·        Strong planning and adaptability skills with a sense for precision.

·        Ability to influence and drive change among employees.

·        Proficiency in project management.

·        Entrepreneurial mindset.

·        Basic IT knowledge (MS Office, hardware Network basics, SQL ).

·        Fluency in Dutch & French.
