Mission

Optimize the 3rd party/outsourced logistics supply chain planning and synchronize demand & execution between the different bpost sorting centers and for Customer PU’s.

This in close collaboration with operations and reporting to the supply chain organization to safeguard the operational efficiencies.

Tasks & responsibilities

You closely collaborate with multiple teams in a weekly recurring pattern, providing operational support, with the objective to implement sustainable solutions realizing savings by optimizing the end-to-end process and combining different demands.

Develop a strategic partnership with external partners by identifying, implementing, and monitoring appropriate actions and initiatives in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.

you are responsible for providing weekly insight into the accounting details of the puzzled solutions.

Engaging with key stakeholders from different levels in the organization, including colleagues from other departments (procurement,sales,accountancy…) to discuss optimization strategies.

Profile

• Supply planning experience

• Negotiation experience in a logistics sourcing environment

• Supplier relationship management (preferable in Belgian transport market)

• Knowledge of transport/Logistics market

• Compliance, notions of transport legislation

• Process description & implementation

• People planning & Long term forecasting

• Stakeholder management

• Change management skills

• Excellent analytical/reporting skills: XLS/PowerBI/PPT

• Influencing and interpersonal skills

• Drive for results

• Fluent Dutch, English and French
