As part of the 3PL finance team, the Financial Controller reports to the Finance Director of 3PL EU (Staci Group, Active Ants and Radial Europe ). Together with the team, he works on the preparation of the budget, forecast and monthly actuals review, prepares financial reports and ad-hoc analysis (i.e. profitability, cash-flow,costs deep-dives,…), reviews (organic) investment cases, and ensures reliability and quality of the financial data. Moreover, the Financial Controller will also have the responsibility to implement a new process to closely control the IT costs and provide insight on these costs to the management. The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations within the IT department of 3PL EU. In doing so, he will closely collaborate with local teams as well as corporate functions (Finance and IT) This function is based in Brussels, with travels abroad (mainly Europe).

Your mission:

• Support to Finance Director (and CFO 3PL EU) in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts as well as internal reports (Group Controlling & Finance);
• Prepare timely monthly financial reporting;
• Spot and correct technical accounting issues for compliance;
• Support month-end and year-end close processes;
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Proven working experience in Controlling, FP&A, Audit or other (corporate)-finance related functions,
• 5+ years of combined finance and accounting experience,
• CFA, CPA is a plus,
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures,
• Experience to prepare financial reporting to internal stakeholder,
• Experience with creating financial statements,
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process,
• Self-driven and analytical skills,
• Excellent MS office skills (and in particular excel),
• Flexible to travel and visit our subsidiaries within Europe,
• Eager to learn and looking for challenges,
• Willing to step up within the group.
