What will you do?
- You play a central role in optimizing the overall architecture and development processes, with the aim of ensuring the coherence, performance, and reliability of systems and applications.
- As a true expert in your field, you are a key point of contact in the collaboration with other bpost entities, using your expertise to further develop practices and solutions.
- You also provide support for the installation of new software and hardware, including operating systems and applications.
- Provide complex high level functional and technical support, troubleshooting and diagnosing complex hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops, thin clients, virtual desktops and mini-PC’s
- Support the installation of new software and hardware, including operating systems and applications
- Improve, support and report on Windows patch management
- Create and maintain operational documentation, user guides, and support materials
- Perform user account and O365 third line management
- Create, maintain and update bpost' future desktop strategy
- Resolve complex end user request and incidents in accordance with the SLA guidelines
- Support the desktop engineer through coaching, reviews, and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and controls, detect for new potential threats, and security gaps
- Automate administration and operational tasks
- Translate architectural blueprints and strategic decisions into executable solutions within the operational infrastructure
- Create, update, and monitor conditional access policies
- Administration and configuration of: Exchange Online, SharePoint online, OneDrive for business, Microsoft Teams, etc
- Works effectively with infrastructure, security, networking, and helpdesk teams
Who are you?
- Understanding of Windows operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven experience with Active Directory, GPO's, Intune, SCCM, Windows patching
- Knowledge to create, migrate and configure Intune system policies
- Knowledge in kiosk mode creation
- Windows autopilot deployments
- Knowledge in Azure authentication (including MFA and Windows Hello), compliance, defender, other O365 products.
- Experience conducting desktop lifecycle management and user migration projects
- Ability to interpret logs and telemetry data from Windows Event Viewer, O365 audit logs, etc.
- Experience working with ITSM tools
- Experience with co-management (SCCM + Intune)
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)
- Conditional Access Policies
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration portals
- Integration experience with Azure AD and Entra ID (Identity Governance)
- Root cause analyses, not just fix symptoms but uncover systemic issues
- Strong customer service orientation
- Collaboration skills within a team environment
- Maintains professionalism under pressure during major outages or escalations
- You understand the impact of desktop and O365 changes on end-user productivity
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable interacting with end-users, business leaders, and IT leadership
- End user communication is part of the job so knowledge of the Dutch and or French language is keen.
