What will you do?

Bnode is strengthening its CISO Office and is looking for an experienced NIS2 Compliance Manager to help drive our cybersecurity compliance programme and strengthen cyber resilience across the organisation.

In this role, you will play a key part in translating NIS2 requirements into practical actions, controls and processes. You will coordinate compliance activities across business and IT teams, monitor progress and remediation actions, and ensure that the organisation maintains the evidence and documentation required to demonstrate compliance.

Acting as a central point of coordination between the CISO Office, Compliance, Legal, Security, IT and operational teams, you will help ensure that NIS2 requirements are not only implemented but embedded into the way we manage cybersecurity risk.

Your mission

Drive NIS2 compliance

  • Translate NIS2 requirements into practical controls, policies, procedures and implementation plans.
  • Maintain the NIS2 control framework, ensuring clear ownership, implementation status and supporting evidence.
  • Coordinate control assessments and compliance reviews across business and IT functions.
  • Identify compliance gaps and monitor remediation plans and actions through to completion.
  • Help ensure that regulatory requirements are translated into pragmatic and sustainable solutions.

Ensure audit and regulatory readiness

  • Coordinate the collection, validation and maintenance of compliance evidence.
  • Ensure documentation remains consistent, complete and audit-ready.
  • Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews and regulatory inspections.
  • Prepare compliance dashboards, metrics and reports for management and governance forums.
  • Support NIS2-related incident reporting, governance and documentation requirements.

Connect risk, security and compliance

  • Work closely with Security Risk Managers, Security Architects and other cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure risks and controls are appropriately reflected within the compliance framework.
  • Maintain clear links between regulatory requirements, cyber risks, controls and remediation activities.
  • Support effective collaboration between the CISO Office, Compliance, Legal, IT and operational teams.

Strengthen cybersecurity governance and awareness

  • Promote understanding of NIS2 and related regulatory obligations across the organisation.
  • Support compliance and cybersecurity awareness initiatives and training.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity governance, compliance monitoring and reporting processes.

Who are you?

You are an experienced cybersecurity, IT risk or compliance professional who understands how to turn regulatory requirements into practical actions within a complex organisation.

You bring:

  • Several years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, information security, compliance, audit or governance.
  • Good knowledge of NIS2 and related cybersecurity and information security requirements.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.
  • Experience working with control frameworks, compliance assessments, remediation plans and audit evidence.
  • Experience with risk registers, compliance tracking or GRC tools.
  • The ability to coordinate activities across technical, business, risk, compliance and legal stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of key cybersecurity domains such as identity and access management, cloud and infrastructure security, network security and business continuity.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple compliance activities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain regulatory requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Fluency in English. Dutch and/or French is an asset.

This is an opportunity to play an important role in Bnode's cybersecurity transformation, helping ensure that regulatory requirements translate into meaningful improvements in cyber resilience across the organisation.
