Within the General Ledger department, we have the unique opportunity to get a global view of the financial transactions of bpost NV. If you have the will to delve into Oracle Fusion (ERP), the monthly "last mile" closing of bpost and its affiliated entities, and the statutory reporting of bpost, respond quickly!

Your mission

• Overseeing the closing of bpost NV and some subsidiaries (BGAAP+IFRS) and owning some key sections (e.g., quarterly revaluation, participations, intercompany loans,...).
• Ensuring the accuracy of the monthly results (costs and revenues) and assisting the external auditors in their review.
• AOP (account ownership process – internal control), owning the justification of a number of accounts and/or certain groups of accounts.
• Assisting in the preparation of the statutory annual accounts.
• Assisting in the development of Oracle Fusion (ERP - cloud tool), which will mainly involve:
• Developing some (OTBI and BI) reports to support internal customers.
• Assisting in the quarterly release update testing and exploring new functionalities.

Your profile

As a Senior Accountant, part of the GL team, you are proactive and not afraid to take on challenges:

• You have a contagious passion for accounting, and your Bachelor in Finance & Accounting proves it.
• Good knowledge of BGAAP accounting standards, willing to invest in IFRS through on-the-job learning.
• Good analytical skills that allow you to dive deep into details while maintaining a helicopter view and conveying conclusions in an understandable way.
• You are fluent in English and have (very) good command of French and/or Dutch.
• Advanced user of Excel (pivot tables and vlookup functions).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud or another common ERP is a plus.
