B2B Business Development Manager
What will you do?
Within our Omnichannel Retail Sales Squad, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mentality, who spots opportunities, creates value, and drives customer success.
Your mission
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in growing bpost’s presence within the Belgian retail and B2B market.
You are a true hunter: identifying and developing new strategic opportunities with prospects and existing clients.
You speak the language of retail supply chain: inventory management, ship-from-store, distribution, warehousing, stock optimization are part of your natural vocabulary.
You translate customer needs into tailor-made solutions that go beyond logistics – including order fulfillment, omnichannel logistics, cross-border shipping, and communication tools to drive traffic and boost conversion.
You build long-term partnerships, from prospecting to contract signing, and manage C-level negotiations.
You collaborate with colleagues from operations, marketing, implementation, and customer service to ensure a seamless execution and a truly customer-centric experience.
Who are you?
Proven hunter mindset: you actively chase opportunities and manage complex, long sales cycles.
Fluent in Dutch and French (English is a plus).
Strong mix of strategic insight and commercial drive: from market analysis to pipeline management and contract negotiations.
Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Able to create business value for customers and think beyond logistics.
