Within this context we are looking for a Project Manager Special Techniques to strengthen our Technical Office.
Your assignment
As Project Manager Special Techniques, you analyze and carry out studies of special techniques in HVAC and electricity for bpost buildings in a program management approach.
You are responsible for the special techniques part (HVAC, electricity) within the Project Team and you manage also technical projects on a larger scale. Within the framework of technical projects, you take the lead from study to execution, including the administrative part and budget monitoring.
Within the framework of the Technical Office :
You take the lead of studies for the Energy Department
You carry out studies for the Maintenance department and you give technical advice
You study and elaborate concepts
You study and update standard specifications.
You will be involved in calculations (HVAC and electricity), project planning, site monitoring, etc.
Together with your colleagues, you will carry out around 350 short projects each year but you will also manage larger projects (for example: e-cars project on country level). You will organize your planning around work at the office and on-site visits.
Your profile
As Project Manager Special Techniques, you are clearly a dynamic team player who combines a solid technical background with a project and hands-on approach.
You have a Master as Civil or Industrial Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a engineering office or a in similar position
You have a thorough knowledge of calculations (HVAC and/or electricity)
You like to juggle with technical projects of all sizes and content types.
You have a positive and open mindset. You like to work together with others and you are strong in building relationships (within the team and within the whole group).
You are fluent in Dutch & French.
You don't think in terms of problems, but in terms of creative, flexible and efficient solutions.
You can work under pressure, with an eye for details and with tight deadlines.
