Throughout Belgium, many young people are unemployed and will need to acquire new skills in the coming years in order to meet the challenges posed by an ever-evolving labor market. This is why Bpost is launching a new program to offer students, unemployed and employed people quality learning pathways that will enable them to meet these challenges.
With bpost boost! we continue to invest in the growth of our employees as well as in the training and guidance of jobseekers to guide them to a job at bpost or another employer in a Belgian growth sector - in order to take up our role as a socially responsible employer to offer lifelong learning opportunities and promote the inclusion of each of us in society.
In order to be able to present a good portfolio of training programmes to internal and external clients, we need a learning expert who will develop these programmes specifically for adults.
Are these areas of focus something for you?
- Stakeholder Management
You build a relationship of trust with internal and external stakeholders. Your stakeholders are our bpost departments, but also our external customers who use our services. You define the competencies that need to be developed so that you can incorporate them in the learning trajectories you develop.
- Development of learning trajectories
Based on the input of your stakeholder, you draw up learning trajectories. You take into account the relevance of the learning trajectories, as well as the best practices from the past. You determine the composition of the program, as well as the way in which the program will be placed. In many cases there will be a combination of classroom training with practical lessons and learning on the job. In times of Covid you will convert these courses into online courses where we guarantee the quality of our courses.
- Program Manager
In order to roll out your learning process optimally, you will have a team of competent instructors at your disposal. This can consist of our own employees, but also of external partners who will take over certain parts of us. As program manager you are responsible for the quality of the program, but also for the quality of the courses and the individual instructors. You support the instructors in the development of the curriculum and give them feedback on the means and material used to monitor the quality of the courses.
It goes without saying that as a Program & Curriculum Design Expert you are passionate about personal development and you have a strong network in educational institutions, with knowledge of current trends in adult learning and the players in the skills training landscape. However we would like to focus on the following aspects:
You have a prior experience in a similar role as a Learning & Development Expert for adult learning;
You are a proactive collaborator, willing to propose solutions and ideas to challenges based on expertise, debate their merits, and make final recommendations for curriculum design;
Creative and analytical thinker with a track record of managing projects and delivering operational targets
Ability to teach or support instructors that teach digital programs, such as software development
You are Dutch or French-speaking, not only do you speak both languages, but your written communication is also of a very high level.
