Parcel delivery is a key growth driver for bpost. In this context, we are searching for a director product (and process) management.
You are responsible for managing bpost value propositions for parcel delivery for both consumers and companies. This encompasses determining the product positioning to the customer, the pricing, the features and guidelines for the product experience across the whole customer journey.
To do so:
You identify and evaluate market needs regarding parcel delivery to prioritize product innovations and continuous improvement that support the current and future profitability of your portfolio.
You manage the product portfolio strategy and life cycle (incl. feature management, legacy, phase out). You have a critical view on product values and collaborate with stakeholders in order to define a roadmap for your portfolio and realize the development and roll-out of new and improved solutions.
You manage with your team the requirements in the development roadmap to IT and operational teams, and support other teams with outlining the technological and operational framework in which your products are situated, as well as shaping the operational and commercial roll-out strategy. Once launched, your team follows up the financial and operational performance of their products, and supports the organization in removing barriers for commercial success for these products.
You provide information for the budgeting cycles and take the necessary corrective action to meet financial target.
You lead a team of 8 product & process managers.

You have 10-15 years of marketing experience in product & customer journey management, preferably in logistics, utilities or services.
You are customer-oriented and technology & process-driven.
You are meticulous and derive energy from managing the product positioning and life cycle.
You are always looking for ways to improve things. You have an analytical mind and are able to translate complex situations into simple language.
You are proactive and have a problem-solving mindset. you take ownership of the matters for which you have responsibility.
You are flexible and you inspire and motivate teams.
You have strong stakeholder management skills.
You have experience with agile development and with service design.
You are fluent in Dutch and French, with good knowledge of English
